ARTstor is a nonprofit digital library of more than one million images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and social sciences. Registered users can save and organize ARTstor images into groups, export image groups as a PowerPoint file for classroom presentations, or share with other users at CWU through a stable URL link. To view / unlock a password protected folder: 

1. Log in to your ARTstor account.

2. In the ARTstor navigation bar, click Find > Unlock password-protected folder.

3. A new window will appear. Enter your first name, last name, and the password provided by the folder creator.

4. Click Submit.

5. A confirmation message will display the name of the folder you have unlocked as well as what type of access you have been granted (Read or Write Access).

6. Now that you are registered to the folder, you will be able to open and view its contents the same you would any other folder.

NOTE:  If you are not able to view the thumbnail images, please first check your computer for ARTStor's system requirements or contact Brooks Library.

Oxford Islamic Studies Online provides A-Z reference content from Oxford publications, including the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Islamic World, as well as  biographies, chaptered works, primary source documents, images, maps, timelines, a date converter tool, Qur'anic Studies resources and other learning resources. Of particular interest to someone just starting to learn about Islam might be What Everyone Needs To Know About Islam, located in the Learning Resources section of the homepage.

CWU Libraries have access to this database through February, 2014 as part of the NEH and ALA Muslim Journeys Grant.

Online access is available for content published within SATAO from July 2009 through 2012.  Additional content (published prior to July 2009) is available in print in the Brooks Library Reference Department.
