"Originally from Belfast, north Ireland, currently living in the USA, I believe in the power of the story – the magic of words- the glamor (the spell) they cast – and in telling we ‘listen’ and in ‘listening’ we take ‘action’ and encourage others to ‘take action’ – the ancient Irish myths spoke of words that make us fall in love…words that make us go to war…it is our ‘word’ that we stand by – our wise ones were our poets, our storytellers…it is in all of us to hear a ‘good’ story…that suspends time, encourages us to see a way forward, accept what we cannot change and have hope even when darkness shrouds us…"
