Reserve Processing Guidelines

  • Reserve materials must be received at the circulation desk at least one day before they are expected to be available.
  • Materials will be processed in the order in which they are received.
  • Required textbooks will not be placed on Reserve unless the bookstore does not supply enough copies.
  • Summit/ILL/Reference books can not be placed on Reserve.
  • Barcodes, labels, and tape will be placed on all books added to the Reserve collection.
  • Placement of personal books on Reserve is at the owner’s risk. The Library is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
  • Personal materials will be returned to the instructor at the end of each quarter.

Book Reserves Instructions

  1. Bring personal and/or library books to be placed on reserve to the Circulation Desk.
  2. Download the Reserve Form or pick up one at the circulation desk and fill it out.
