| History: | The personnel files of Central Washington University faculty members were believed to have been retained first by the Dean of Instruction from 1954 to 1964 and then the Dean of Faculty from 1965 to 1969. In 1970 the Vice President of Academic Affairs was established and active faculty personnel files were maintained by that office. Since 1995, files of faculty members that retired, resigned or were terminated have been transferred from the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs / Provost to the Human Resources Office. |
| Contents: | The collection consists of correspondence relating to faculty appointments, salary increases, promotions, resignations, retirements and letters of termination from 1958 to 2004. Some personnel files include biographies, obituaries, curriculum vitae, newspaper clippings, publications, research reports, professional development information, photographs and other records submitted by faculty members or administrators employed by Central Washington University. The majority of the files are of adjunct and temporary faculty from 1990 to 1994. |
