Historical or Biographical Sketch: The Central Washington University library began in Barge Hall, moved into Bouillon Hall in 1962, and finally to a new building in 1973. In 2003, the building was named in honor of Dr. James L. Brooks, former president of Central Washington University. Scope and Content Note: Consists of accession records and circulation statistics kept by campus library at Central Washington University from 1899 to 1962. The accession records list each book and journal purchased or donated to the library from 1899 to 1962. The circulation statistics list tabulations of monthly book loans by specific subject from 1928 to 1956. Included in the collection are the circulation statistics for the Training School library from 1933 to 1939.
