    Historical or Biographical Sketch: The Office of Institutional Studies was established in 1962 as the Office of Institutional Research. The department changed names in 1970 to the Office of Institutional Studies and returned to the title of Office of Institutional Research in 1984.

    Scope and Content Note: The collection consists of published reports retained or developed by the Office of Institutional Research at Central Washington University from 1952 to 1987. The reports include self evaluations, accreditation reports, program evaluations and information files.
