Historical or Biographical Sketch: The Office of Institutional Studies at Central Washington University was established in 1962 as the Office of Institutional Research. The department changed names in 1970 to the Office of Institutional Studies and returned to the title of Office of Institutional Research in 1984. Scope and Content Note: The general files and records of the Institutional Research Department at Central Washington University consist of student and faculty surveys, questionnaires, and departmental reviews from 1971 to 1991. The collection includes correspondence and other related departmental files from 1962 to 1987. Research Note: No restrictions. Open to the public.
