Visit the Blind Date with a Book display near the circulation desk and take a chance on a new book based on its dating profile. Simply select a book, check it out, unwrap it, and enjoy!

The book display will be up from February 1-12. All books are recommendations from the Brooks Library faculty, staff, and student workers.

Jimmy B's Coffee Shop Grand Opening

Yakima Valley Latino Heritage

Come to the Brooks Library February 3 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm for the opening of our Yakima Valley Latino Heritage display and accompanying poetry reading. 

Enjoy poetry readings in English and Spanish by CWU professor Stella Moreno as well as other CWU faculty and students.

Brooks Library Book Club Kickoff

The Brooks Library Book Club selection for Winter Quarter is Eating Wildly: Foraging for Life, Love and the Perfect Meal by Ava Chin.

Our Book Club Kickoff and Launch Party will be Monday, February 1 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Come by the Brooks Library lobby to pick up a copy of the book and grab a light snack.

Sunday Films at the Brooks Library

Come to the Brooks Library every Sunday from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm for our new documentary film series, Sunday Films at the Brooks Library. 

Each week we'll be featuring a different documentary from our streaming video collection. The films are free and open to the public.
