Electronic Research & Instruction Center

[Room 154 Brooks Library]


Library Room 154, the library's Electronic Research and Instruction Center, is managed and scheduled by the Reference & Instruction librarians and graduate assistants.

The Center supports the library's instructional needs and secondarily serves as a student computer lab. No regularly scheduled classes may meet in the Center other than LIB 145. When not reserved, the room operates as an open lab available to any user with a valid university computing account.

The lab may be reserved for the following purposes:

  • LIB 145
  • Library instruction and orientation sessions
  • Library staff development programs which require lab equipment
  • Library faculty and staff meetings which require lab equipment
