Title Search
If you already know the title of the moving image material you are looking for, enter your title words at the Title Search page of the online catalog.
Author Search:
Directors, actors, screenwriters, producers, and narrators are considered authors, so you can search from the Author Search page search to find moving image materials by their various creators.

  • Choose AV MEDIA from the dropdown list.
  • Click on the Submit button to run your search

Locating materials

  • Once you have found the item you want to borrow in Cattrax, bring the Call number of the item and your Connection Card to the Media Circulation desk on the first floor of the Brooks Library.
  • All call numbers for moving image materials begin with either VT for VHS videotapes, DV for DVD discs, or FM for 16MM films.
  • 16MM films can only be checked out by CWU faculty members for classroom use, but they can be viewed in the Media Circulation area.
