  • Responsible for the overall administration of the Library Technology Services.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of unit's policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide leadership, vision, and expertise related to library systems, technologies, software, and hardware that increase and enhance access to academic resources at CWU Library.
  • Identify, evaluate, coordinate, and teach the use of technologies to library staff.
  • Resolve problems, propose new and better ways of using technology and, by collaborating with and by offering substantive training to library staff, thereby empower them in performing their own functions.
  • Represent the Library in technology issues on campus and within the CWU System and at the national level.
  • Administer Alma/Primo.
  • Teach Univ 101-Library session.
  • Provide reference and consultation.
  • Serve as peer reviewer for academic and scholarly journals.
  • Serve as mentor for international visiting scholars.
  • Key Research Interests: Next-generation ILS, Discovery Systems, Institutional Repository, Digitization, Digital Scholarship.
