Dear CWU Family,
The news and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has all of us adjusting to new realities. Keeping up with the evolving information about the outbreak, spikes, restrictions, and re-openings is challenging.
CWU Libraries will be physically closed for the summer, but we will continue the virtual services we grew and enhanced during Spring Quarter. We are able to serve our library users regardless of location through chat, appointments for more in-depth work, scan and send, and mailing of print books when we cannot obtain an electronic copy.
For Fall Quarter, we will follow Washington phased reopening guidelines for their counties. If our counties are still in Phase II, we will add pickup service. As our counties enter Phase III, we will welcome you back in our spaces, although you will see some changes with health and safety in mind.
This year, we enhanced and deepened our electronic resource collections. Please check out our service updates page for the latest news. Also keep an eye on our social media presence via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
We encourage you to continue to follow CWU’s main page for information on the state of services.
We hope that by sharing information with you as the situation evolves we can help our students and faculty through this time and provide peace of mind and intellectual nourishment.
