Permissible Use Of Communication Devices

Patrons are asked to keep noise at reasonable levels throughout the library.  Library staff reserves the right to make the determination of what is reasonable.  Communication devices are permitted as long as the noise and conversation levels do not interfere with others’ use of the library.  Users of audio devices in the library must use earphones.

As a courtesy to library users, cell phones should be switched to silent or the lowest audible settings to minimize disruptions.  If it is necessary to use a cell phone or other audio-based communications device, please select a location which would minimize interference of other users.

The filming of or recording of others is forbidden unless it is with their express permission.  Please see library policy Filming and Photographing in the Library.
