Digital Collections

Searching OneSearch and sorting to eBooks is an excellent way to see what’s available for a specific topic.  Another option is to go directly to the eBook collections to browse.

One method of finding scholarly articles is to search OneSearch and sort to Articles to see what’s available for a specific topic. You can also go directly to specific collections of articles through the A-Z Databases list.

Films and Videos

Find available streaming media through our streaming video collections.

Physical Collections

Learn about loan periods and borrowing privileges on the circulation and interlibrary loan page.

Summit and Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Most requests may be placed directly through OneSearch and are requested through the Summit consortia. If placing a request for an item not found in OneSearch, you can place a manual request through ILL.

Ordering and Picking up Items

Online students at Des Moines, Lynnwood, Pierce, Sammamish, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) may request items through OneSearch to be picked up and returned at either the Lynnwood or Des Moines campus.

Online students at Ellensburg, Yakima, Wenatchee, and Moses Lake may request items through OneSearch to be picked up and returned at the James E. Brooks Library.

Online students (not in Ellensburg) have the option of having items delivered to their home by creating an item request in Interlibrary Loan. Items will be shipped via USPS to the patron’s home. Return postage is paid by the borrower or items may be returned to either Des Moines or Lynnwood Library.

Summit Visiting Patrons - "Away from the Library"
Online patrons may establish visiting privileges or the option of picking up materials at a different Orbis Cascade Alliance library. Patrons interested in this option will need to physically visit the location to verify they are a Summit-eligible patron and set up a visiting account.
